Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team at our upcoming location in the Loussac Library. The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee-based beverages, teas, and various foods to our customers in a fast-paced, engaging, and exceptionally fun environment. The Barista should have a friendly, outgoing personality and be able to work efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude. The Barista should also have knowledge of different drinks and be able to make recommendations to customers.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare and serve coffee-based beverages, teas, and other drinks to customers.
· Ensure quality control of beverages, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
· Clean and maintain the espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment.
· Keep the work area clean and organized at all times.
· Take and process customer orders, handle cash and card transactions, and provide exceptional customer service.
· Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
· Work collaboratively with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient operation of the coffee shop.

Job Requirement

· Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role preferred.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
